pomegranate red beet juice

True Blood!

Autumn is the right time to score for vitamin C and as Halloween is near, it’s time to bring out the vampire in us!
Pomegranates are rich in vitamin C, B5 and potassium.
Recent studies show that it may contain up to three times more antioxidants than green tea.
Beets are rich in antioxidants, magnesium, sodium, potassium and vitamin C.
Both have a wonderful red blood hue which, I’m warning you, is dangerous for your clothes.
Pomegranates have been used in Ayurvedic medicine ever since, and they are a symbol which returns in all main religions and cults.
In ancient books, it is said to be the true forbidden fruit in the Garden of Eden, but that’s another story.

For one serving:

1 pomegranate (just the seeds)
1 red beet
1 apple
1 cm fresh ginger
a pinch of salt
½ lemon without peel (optional)

Put everything into the juice extractor.
Drink it as soon as possible.
