hot raw chocolate

 

You can’t beat a nice cup of hot chocolate in winter days, maybe if shared with someone special.
Would you believe that this is totally raw but as thick, scented and satisfying as hot chocolate can be? Here’s the proof.

1 cup vegetable milk (I recommend almond or coconut)
1 cup hot water (not boiling)
tablespoons raw cocoa powder
tablespoon chia seeds
¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
3 dates
a pinch of salt
a pinch of cinnamon powder

Mix all ingredients, pour into the mugs and sprinkle with cacao nibs or raw cocoa powder. Close your eyes and enjoy slowly…
